What is a MicroLaserPeel?

How many treatments will I need?

What will happen during the procedure?
Your eyes will be protected with safety glasses and skin cleansed. The practitioner will guide the laser handpiece as the computer scanner moves the laser beam over the treatment area. The procedure usually takes 15 to 30 minutes and causes little pain. On the lowest setting most people tolerate the procedure well with no anesthetic and with higher level settings a topical numbing cream is used.
What should I expect immediately after the treatment?
You should expect redness and a sensation resembling sunburn as well as a mild swelling. The skin will have a “frosty” appearance that will slough off within the next few days post treatment. Depending on the depth of treatment, most patients return to work within 3 to 4 days.
What aftercare do I need?
Your skin will be sensitive to sun so you will be advised to wear sunscreen and to avoid direct sun exposure until fully healed. Your practitioner may prescribe a skin care regimen You will be prescrubied an ointment to act as a barrier to keep air away from your skin till it heals.
When should I expect results?
You will notice an improvement in healthier looking skin, tone, texture and color evenness within 3-4 days post treatment as the skin heals.
