What is Laser Skin Rejuvenation?
Laser skin rejuvenation describes any kind of laser treatment used to make the client’s skin look younger. It includes skin resurfacing and skin tightening procedures. The Elos laser system combines a laser with radiofrequency energies. That combination gives it the advantage of versatility, and the practitioner can use it to treat conditions such as the following:
• Wrinkles and fine lines
• Sagging skin
• Dull or rough skin
• Enlarged pores
The Elos laser can both stimulate collagen production to tighten the skin and remove dead skin cells to unveil healthy, new skin.
What is the Halo Fractional Laser?
The Halo fractional laser is a hybrid laser that emits two wavelengths at the same time. One wavelength targets the epidermis, while the other penetrates more deeply. As a fractional laser, it doesn’t remove the entire layer of the epidermis. Instead, the laser emits discreet beams that each create a tiny channel in the client’s skin. The epidermal laser targets blemishes like age spots and scars, while the deeper laser stimulates collagen production. The “micro-channels” in the skin also stimulate the body’s healing process, so the treatment produces healthy, new skin cells.
