Before an Exion appointment here are the key things patients should know:

1. What Exion Is:

Exion is a non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment that combines radiofrequency (RF) energy with micro-needling. It’s designed to stimulate collagen, improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and address scarring and other skin concerns.

2. Consultation and Candidacy:

• A consultation is necessary to determine if Exion is appropriate for your skin type and concerns.
• Disclose any medical conditions, current medications, history of keloids, or active infections in the treatment area.

3. Pre-Treatment Preparation:

• Avoid retinoids, exfoliants, and harsh skincare products for 3–5 days before treatment.
• Do not schedule if you have active acne, cold sores, or an open wound in the area to be treated.
• Limit sun exposure and avoid tanning for at least a week pre-treatment.

Inform your provider if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have had recent cosmetic procedures.
